Finance Operation Executive (Tax & Treasury)

Drive Financial Accuracy & Strengthen Tax and Treasury Operations in a Leading Export Organization
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Operation Executive (Tax & Treasury) to manage accurate financial reporting, tax compliance and treasury functions within a dynamic export-driven environment. The selected individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and the integrity of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily finance operations related to taxation, treasury and statutory reporting.

• Handle tax processes including VAT, WHT, ESC, Corporate Tax and other statutory submissions.

• Maintain accurate financial data and ensure proper documentation for internal and external audits.

• Oversee treasury activities such as cash flow planning, fund allocation and banking coordination.

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting while maintaining SAP ERP data integrity (mandatory requirement).

• Support month-end closing activities and preparation of financial statements.

• Monitor compliance with Sri Lankan tax regulations, accounting standards and internal controls.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial processes and timely issue resolution.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years’ hands on experience in finance operations, taxation, and treasury.

• Strong understanding of Sri Lankan tax regulations and accounting standards.

• SAP ERP proficiency is mandatory.

• Knowledge of IFRS will be an added advantage.

• Excellent analytical, documentation and reporting skills.

• High attention to detail with a strong sense of responsibility, integrity and accuracy.

• Ability to manage tight timelines and work effectively across teams.
