HEAD OF LEGAL

Our client, a prestigious and diversified pharmaceutical group engaged in manufacturing, importing, and distributing pharmaceutical products, is seeking a highly competent and experienced Head of Legal to lead its legal function. This is a key leadership position responsible for providing strategic legal guidance, ensuring compliance, and safeguarding the organization’s interests across all business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to senior management on all corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.

• Oversee legal affairs related to contracts, compliance, litigation, and intellectual property.

• Manage relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies.

• Ensure adherence to all statutory and industry-specific regulations governing the pharmaceutical sector.

• Lead the legal team and foster a culture of integrity, compliance, and proactive risk management.

Candidate Profile:

·         Attorney-at-Law with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university.

·         Minimum 10+ years of progressive legal experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.

·         Proven expertise in corporate law, compliance, litigation management, intellectual property, and regulatory affairs.

·         Strong commercial acumen and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

·         Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with a high degree of integrity and strategic thinking.
